September 1986 - Paul's Lawn Care is established, providing snow removal services to the residential sector, specifically the clearing of driveways and walkways.
Spring 1987 - Started cutting lawns and yard work.
1988 - Purchase of rural property on South Pelham road to allow room for expansion of business from 1 to 2, then 3 and up to 6 trucks. Including in our services, landscaping, particularly supplying and grating or topsoil, laying sod, shaping of beds and planting of trees, shrubbery, and perennials.
1989 - Planting of nursery stock on our property and purchase of finished (retail ready) nursery stock from Backers Nurseries for the purpose of retail from our property and for the supply of plant material for our landscaping efforts.
One truck, part time work, exploding to the largest lawn maintenance and landscaping company in the Niagara Peninsula exclusively specializing in the residential sector employing up to 18 full time seasonal with as many as 6 crews on the road, servicing Welland and Fonthill.
April 15 2006 - Grand opening of Paul's Garden Centre at 19 Lincoln Street. A full line retail garden centre, gift store, on over 3 acre paved property with over 7000 square feet indoor showroom and additional warehousing and storage room.
TODAY - Employing 35 seasonally full time and part time. Paul's Garden Centre's goal and objective is to provide premium products, exceptional service and fair prices ... always!
